  • Regulation D and Regulation DD
    This presentation will cover Regulation D account types and the requirements related to savings and time deposits, including the six-transfer rule and when early withdrawal penalties are required. Regulation DD includes the account-opening disclosures, advertising requirements, periodic statements and change-in-term notice requirements. We will cover common issues our nationwide membership encounters in relation to Regulation DD.

  • E-Sign
    E-Sign is another area that can cause confusion, as it is critically important but limited in scope. This presentation will cover when you are required to comply with E-SIGN and how to comply with E-Sign prior to delivering documents electronically.

  • Regulation E
    This session will focus on common problems related to Regulation E like: scope of the rule (Is the account covered under Reg E?); liability calculations (Is it $50? Or $500? Or something else?); overdraft and ATM disclosures; error investigation requirements (including what is a covered error); and what’s really required under the remittance transfer rules.

  • Regulation CC
    This session will discuss the various requirements of the regulation including coverage, funds availability, case-by-case holds, and exceptions. There will be an emphasis on amendments to Regulation CC related to electronic and electronically created checks, expedited availability, substitute checks, warranties, and liability.

  • BSA/AML and the “Five” Pillars
    During this presentation, we will be discussing the “5” Pillars of BSA/AML Compliance—financial institutions must have a solid program in place commensurate with their respective risk profiles. Policy statements alone are not sufficient. This deep dive will review these pillars, and where bank’s lack proper oversight and implementation.

  • Money Service Businesses and Marijuana Related Businesses
    Money Service Businesses continue to be a hot topic within compliance. The same goes for Marijuana Related Businesses and Hemp customers. This presentation will discuss money service businesses requirements and how those need to be integrated into your BSA/AML programs, as well as a breakdown of MRB and Hemp banking, providing insights into program develops and enhancements that banks should be considering prior to offering services to these customers.
