Managing for Technology: Directors & the Bank of the Future
Increasingly, bank customers are choosing electronic delivery channels. Banks themselves are increasingly committed to electronic processes, both internally and externally. It is logical then, that bank Directors need education about the technologies currently in use, future directions, and appropriate means of oversight to ensure that such resources are managed well.
This session will focus heavily on banking automation, risk management, and security for both customers and employees. Current regulatory guidance on the topic will be covered, as well as guidelines for effective strategic planning that includes technology as an integral part of the bank's operations.
Participants will leave with a keen understanding of how technology impacts their respective institutions, and the role of the Director in providing proper oversight to management.
