Introduction To Consumer Lending
This entry-level seminar is designed to provide new consumer lenders with the necessary underwriting and decision-making skills needed to make safe, sound, collectible consumer loans. In addition to secured and unsecured consumer transaction, home improvement and home equity loans are also included in the day's discussion. There are two main objectives of this seminar. The first is the provide participants with a thorough foundation for safe and sound consumer lending practices. The second is to promote the importance and understanding of regulatory compliance through the entire consumer loan origination process. A variety of consumer lending resources will be included in the seminar handout.
