Description: The Missouri Bankers Association (MBA) is seeking an experienced, strategic and innovative leader, with strong political and business acumen, who will serve as its president and CEO and be the primary advocate of the Missouri banking industry. The MBA is anchored in the state’s capital Jefferson City, positioning the Association perfectly to work with state elected officials and regulators as an advocate on behalf of its members in support of the banking industry. This individual will lead and direct the organization to maximize its effectiveness in providing value to its members and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities include leadership, advocacy, governance, community and public relations, and effectively directing and building the MBA team. A bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required. Advanced degree in finance, management law or related field is strongly preferred. A minimum of five years as CEO or very senior leadership position in a major trade association or similar organization, including leadership with volunteers, is preferred. Knowledge and experience of the banking industry preferred.

This position includes a 25% travel requirement to attend events, meetings, conferences and perform advocacy. The MBA offers a competitive compensation and benefits package with a relocation package available.

Credit Operations Specialist

This position is responsible for administering construction loan draws, preparing flood insurance calculations, and monitoring and balancing letters of credit. They will also research and respond to consumer credit disputes, prepare audit verifications for participations, and perform OFAC checks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administer construction loan draws. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time.

Compliance Analyst I-Advisory

Description: Centennial Bank is hiring a Compliance Analyst I-Advisory. This position is responsible for providing guidance related to regulatory compliance requirements in an advisory capacity to all lines of business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  1. Remain current with the changes to state and federal banking laws and regulations affecting the management, operations, and product offerings of the bank.
  2. Coordinates with operating departments to ensure adherence to laws and regulations relating to new or revised products and services offerings of the bank.
  3. Coordinates and offers support to the bank's training department through recommendations concerning compliance training, as they relate to the various compliance reviews performed at the bank.
  4. Provide senior management with information to accurately determine the bank's extent of compliance.
  5. Performs research to aid in answering compliance-related questions on a daily basis from bank personnel.
  6. Maintain confidentiality on all Audit & Risk Committee files, records, work papers, minutes, etc.
  7. Maintain the compliance department intranet and make changes as necessary.
  8. Schedule meetings with the operating units and managers, as necessary, to provide information on compliance changes that affect their respective areas.

Deposit Operations Manager

Description: Centennial Bank is hiring a Deposit Operations Manager. The candidate will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Deposit Operations Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages full-time and part-time personnel. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of various day two bookkeeping functions. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time.
  • Performs annual due diligence and remittance on abandoned properties. This duty is performed annually, about 50% of the time.
  • Performs weekly backup withholding submission. This duty is performed weekly, about 20% of the time.
  • Submission of the monthly interest on trust accounts/interest on lawyer trust accounts reporting. This duty is performed monthly, about 10% of the time.
  • Quality control for CD interest and Club check processing. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
  • Process Special Statement Request. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
  • Monitor ticket queue to ensure all requests are being handled in a timely manner. This duty is performed daily, about 15% of the time.

Item Processing Specialist

Description: Centennial Bank is accepting applications for an Item Processing Specialist. The Item Processing Specialist will process bank transactions daily through Branch Capture. They will be the primary contact for branch personnel on level one trouble-shooting and support on Branch Capture equipment. They will also have direct daily contact with branch staff and must maintain a high degree of professionalism. They must be able to make balancing decisions independently, referring only critical decisions to their supervisor.

Education and Experience:
High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc, plus 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
