Description: First Service Bank, award winner of Arkansas Best Places to Work in 2020, 2021, & 2022, is now accepting applications for a full-time Audit & Compliance & CRA Officer to work at our Greenbrier, AR corporate headquarters.
The Audit and Compliance Officer position is responsible for managing the Audit and Compliance department; providing operational support to all bank staff in regards to laws and regulations; maintaining the Bank's Compliance Management Program to ensure conformity and adherence with all applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations, reviewing and responding to complaints, and reviewing marketing materials and efforts. The Officer works closely with the bank regulators, external auditors, and other bank service providers and consultants to ensure the Bank’s compliance posture, policies, procedures and compliance management systems are aligned to protect and minimize the bank’s reputation, regulatory, and capital risk. Additionally, the position advises and trains banking staff on these compliance procedures and policy.
The compliance officer and supporting staff are responsible for Compliance Monitoring and Activities, coordinating and assisting in hosting internal training, tracking internal and external training, CRA and fair lending monitoring and tracking, committee leadership, maintenance of compliance management system and document storage, participating in new product development and providing guidance on advertising and marketing campaigns.
The Audit and Compliance department coordinates external audits and examinations, as well as conducts internal audits and reviews, maintains the Bank’s exception tracking system to ensure mitigation of all Board and Audit Committee directed risk, prepares and coordinates.
