What is the greatest advice you have ever been given?
Over the years, I have been blessed to have been around a number of influential people who have all shared either through words or actions very important life lessons to me. One that has always stuck with me is something that my grandfather told me when I very first started my banking career and that was to “treat everyone that you come into contact with the same amount of respect whether they are worth millions or asking for a $1000.00 loan."
What is the most effective daily habit that you possess?
I have a daily devotional in my office that one of my customers gave me, and I try to spend my first five minutes in the morning reading it. No matter how stressed I am or what the day holds for me, this helps put my mind and attitude in the right place and helps me focus on what’s most important for the rest of my day.
