By registering for this conference, attendee acknowledges the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assumes the risk of exposure or infection by attending the Annual Convention, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability, and/or death to attendee. Attendee agrees to comply with all COVID-related procedures that may be implemented by the ABA and the Little Rock Marriott. Attendee may be removed from the Little Rock Marriott for failure to follow these procedures. Attendee understands that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the Annual Convention may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of others who may attend the event or their families, colleagues, or others with whom they may have contact. Attendee understands and agrees that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the ABA, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in the Annual Convention. Accordingly, I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for both myself and any guest that I bring with me as to any expense, loss, or liability related to contracting the virus while attending an event hosted by the ABA. This waiver and release of liability form shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its choice of law principals.
