ELS Spotlight With Crystal Martin

Crystal Martin is VP Branch Manager/Treasury Management Officer for Legacy National Bank in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

My primary role is leading the retail team at our Joyce St. location in Fayetteville, but I also work very closely with our Treasury Management department in providing our Commercial Clients solutions and support that will simplify their day to day business needs.

What is the most important leadership lesson that you’ve learned?

To always lead by example. For me personally, it is important not only be a role model for my team but to be a leader that my team is proud to follow.

What does effective leadership look like to you?

For me effective leadership means creating a team environment that embraces the individual strengths of each teammate, encourages open communication, and creates an environment where the associates feel valued and empowered.
