  • TRID
    This session will review of the basics of TRID but will then look at it from an advanced perspective, discussing many of the major issues that lenders are facing when it comes to implementation and compliance. It will review the most recent updates and what examiners are citing in examinations.

  • HMDA
    This session will focus on a deep dive into Regulation C. We will cover a brief background of the rule before tackling the intricacies of the regulation. We will review a line-by-line analysis of the requirements for your HMDA LAR reporting, common grey areas, or ambiguous parts to the rule, as well as any new proposals or final rules from the past year.

  • Mortgage Servicing Rules
    The lengthy amendments to the Mortgage Servicing Rules are now in full effect. They changed and/or added numerous requirements through RESPA and TILA. This presentation will cover the implementation of these amendments and where banks should be in your compliance. Topics include: delinquency, requests for information, successors in interest, force placed insurance, loss mitigation and periodic statements.

  • Flood Rules
    This presentation will cover the scope of the flood rule, determining minimum flood requirements, notice requirements, NFIP maximums by property type, evidence of insurance, contents coverage, condominium coverage, record keeping, and penalties for flood violations. We will also be discussing the detached structure exemption, escrow notice requirements, force placement and required notices in respect to force placed flood insurance.

  • Mortgage Loan Originator Rules and the SAFE Act
    This presentation will cover who your loan officers and mortgage loan originators are and what the requirements related to those positions entail. This includes a look at the Regulation Z compensation rules and the SAFE Act requirements related to NMLS registrations.

  • FCRA, FACTA and EGRRCPA
    This session will cover what is expected of financial institutions when it comes to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act, and then the Economic Growth, Reuglatory Relief and Consumer Protection Act. Topics will include affiliate marketing, duties of furnishers of information and obtaining and using consumer reports, risk-based pricing requirements, identity theft and more.
